Software: 3ds max,mental ray,Mudbox,Photoshop

Another UFO sigthing in a small remote town somewhere in Kentucky, nothing special… or is it?
In mysterious ways, more and more citizens of this little town disappear, without leaving any traces.

Only four heroes are able to escape their fate in the last moment and team up to strike back against
the dark and mysterious force: Zombie Ninjas from outer Space who came to feast on the human species.

Now this small team of very different characters have to combine their strenght, if they want to survive.
Jack Norisk, an old veteran Pilot, inventor and Elvis impersonator and his brave and clever dog Huxley.
Chika Hayabusa, exchange student/cheerleader from Tokyo and the last decendant of an ancient Ninja Clan.
Joe Endzeit, former football star, lumberjack and mechanic, who becomes the leader of the resistance.

Will they be a match for the evil superiority. Only one thing is for sure, it will be a hard battle that
will decide about the future of mankind.

2 months full of fun, creativity and inspiring works by talented artists from all around the world.
I think we all had a great time and it´s cool to see all the finished works and ideas.

Here the credits for used materials/references and some more info:

Background elements, textures and references - [CGtextures](http://www.cgtextures.com/) , [Mayang](http://mayang.com/textures/) and [3D.sk](http://3d.sk/)

Some more used textures and references are photos I shot over the years...

Joe´s tattoo is losely based on the tattoo Seth Gecko has in From Dusk Till Dawn

Chika was inspired by Miho from Sin City and Gogo from Kill Bill, combined with Manga elements. It was mainly about playing with stereotypes but still trying to create a character that looks interesting.

Jack is a mix of Evel Knievel and Elvis because I thought mixing theese elements should result in a cool and fun character.

Huxley is supposed to be the dog equivalent of Jack, like it´s often in the real world. I tried to make that more obvious with the goggles and colors. :D

The Space Zombie Ninjas were inspired by classic scifi movies and over time became more and more evil looking.

Thanks again to all of you, for your kind comments and pointers!

Now I really, really need some sleeeeeeeeep... :surprised

Cheers!

Hey Semih,

Cool final image  Like a lot the style , more on the 90´s but really cool . Great elements, characters and designs on the concept. Jack Norisk can be a really great B-Movie star  Chika looks awesome, beautiful and letal  Huxley is a great addition for that amazing team

The background with a small town puts a totally B-Movie touch, good call. And really cool type, really well managed and achived, great! That little space zombie ninjas are fantastic, love the design and the outfit ( I want one of those alien belts, with a skull !! :D)

Congratulations for this cool image! Good luck !! Time for a well deserved tequila  Cheers!!

Well done Semih!

For me, the success in the poster is that it captures the ‘feel’ of a small town under seige. And the characters are diverse enough to creat some interest in the dynamics.

Good luck!

Congratulations on finishing the piece, Semih!!
Your entry became gorgeous, showing your great skills and your unique style. The final versions of your characters are truly first class (respectively ‘erste Sahne’)! Like very much also your colours, giving the piece the necessary lightness of a B-movie, without getting too serious about all the creepy content.

Wishing you some relaxing time, and good luck! :buttrock:

Thank you very much and Congratulations for finishing your cool and dynamic image too!

You´re totally right, after having completed a piece you worked on for 2 month, the Tequilla is really well deserved and it´s reason enough for a small celebration! :buttrock:

Thank you, I´m glad if I could bring across that feel. The isolation from the rest of the world and totally different characters having to get along with each other and even combining their strenght, really is, what the story is all about.

Zoltan [/b]>>>

Thank you very much, that´s far too kind. Without your incredible support and helpful pointers, it wouldn´t have been the same, so thank you very much again!

I have ordered poster prints and I´ve ordered one for you too, so you also have a small souvenir.
Just write me a pm where you want it to be sent.

The 2 months are already over??? Can´t believe it…

Cheers!

Hey Semih, that’s too kind of you - really, why spending money!! Watching your doing has been interesting and very inspiring. You have done an impressive demonstration how to follow a concept with ease and fun, not needing any pointers actually.

Nonetheless, your Chika is too sexy to go without this kind souvenir
Will drop you a PM - thanks a lot my friend!! (unfortunately no tequilla icons)

Hey Semih,

Thanks for posting these close-ups. Now more detail is revealed and it is good to see. I just love your dog. Him and Jack really looks related he he he.

Work to be proud of… and in such short time. Well done.

Giom

Gorgeous details - all characters spot-on! Maybe one day you could follow the project, doing a lovely scenery of the movie.

Yes, Chika is my favourite! No need to see the sunway grating, i can hear the train.

PS: meant “subway” of course

Giom >>>

Thanks! I´m happy with the result and it´s really cool that you esspecially like Huxley and see the connection between him and Jack!

Zoltan >>>

Thanks! As all characters are animation ready, one day perhaps I´ll do a trailer for the film… If it was only about the main characters it could be done as another spare time project, but then also buildings, backgrounds, props etc. are needed and that makes it more time consuming, but who knows… it would be fun anyways. :buttrock:

See You!
