B-Movie Entry: Semih Yaman

#21

Edit: Though i´m still not completely sure what weapons Space Zombie Ninjas have, it´s very obvious how their flying saucers look… :D:bounce:

#22

The Space Zombie Ninja UFO…

#23

That is just way too cool. If ever it encounters a captal class ship, then it can just hurl itself at the enemy’s hull.

#24

Since there Zombies why not body parts. Just an Idea

RageOfAges >

Yes, so there´s also a practical use to the design… also theese things will be easy to land.

Aven99 >

Haha… perhaps even alien body parts from planets they already conquered.
I think I´m going to stick more with the Ninja theme and just give them some kind of sword.

#26

Hellu.

that ninja space UFO is a really good looking thing… well done

#27

Thanks makaron, glad you like it

#28

Ready to kick some alien b…!

#29

Lol cool. Is this the fatty with the Super Dave helmet?

I think your subsurface scattering is a little high, though. Right now it looks like you could poke a wick in the top of his head and let him slow burn for a few days :argh:

-Keep up the good work

#30

Thanks Rage. Yes, he´s the well-fed guy with the Evel Knievel/Super Dave helmet.

You´re probably right about the sss, I´m going to tone it down a little.

#31

this is looking sweet

#32

I like the face and the expression. Keep up the good work !

#33

Nice progress… What are you using the hair?

#34

Lovely concept! Nice the many different characters - looks like a B-movie for the whole family  , featuring Adriana as well, i hope!

Like the idea of using body parts as weapons for those alien Ninjas - their weapons should be scary but also a bit ridiculous. So why not a kind of Kusagirama, made of bones and with small skulls as swinging weight? Or something like a Nunchaku with one of the sticks being a laser (for true masters only)? Just some strange ideas…

Thanks! The facial expression took quite a while to achieve, I´m also happy with it now.

Hi my friend, good to see you here! Haha... Adriana will probably have to wait till this challenge is completed. ;)

Your right about the weapons. Kusarigama and Nunchacku are true oldschool Ninja weapons, adding some sort of twist like a skull/laser/both would probably be cool. :buttrock:

I´m going to have to play around with all this stuff to get the original Space Zombie Ninja weapon.

#36

Very nice! Keep going

#37

Thanks Dmitrij

I finished the base mesh for Joe and started texturing and adding more detail in Mudbox.
Update is coming soon! :bounce:

#38

This is the final base mesh and a screengrab, showing the sculpting and texturing in Mudbox, I did so far.

#39

Here is a more evil version of the SZN. I tried to give him an airbrushed clay stop motion puppet look and added more detail, like muscles, rib cage and wrinkles. There is still a lot of sculpting and texturing to do, but this will be the overall direction.

#40

Though the sculpt is not completely finished yet, I gave him a quick skinning and posed him to see how the displacement works. For the clothes I used a cloth simulation, perhaps I will add some more wrinkles in Mudbox later.
