What would a B-movie be without aliens? And of course a good B-movie also needs Zombies! But any movie is of course nothing without lots and lots of Ninjas!!!
Inspired by the Army of Darkness movie poster, with references from: Invasion of the Saucer Men, Zool and many photos found on the web of Elvis impersonators and japanese schoolgirls.
LOL the concept itself is a winner. It has everything! Alien, Girl, Chainsaw…wow Very cool poster layout as well.
Gilfindel > Hahaha… how could i miss the giant robot? :banghead:
Yongkiat > Thank you very much!
Haha… i tried to combine all B-movie stuff i like in one story…
And as in every B-movie, this story is flawlessly logic!
A small village is attacked by mysterious zombie ninjas in flying saucers who love eating humans. They have erased almost the whole population of the village, only 3 heroes and a dog have survived and fight back, to stop the evil forces from taking over the earth.
The characters
Joe Endzeit - Lumberjack, mechanic, ex-football star and now the leader of the resistance.
Chika Hayabusa - Japanese exchange cheerleader, who is a kunoichi, a female ninja and secretly in love with Joe.
Jack Norisk - Former veteran pilot, inventor, Elvis impersonator and hobby rocket scientist.
Huxley - Jacks clever and brave dog that easily makes Lassie look retarded.
Aliens, Ninjas, Zombies… What more could you ask of a B movie?
Lol Space Ninja Zombies was actually one of my earlier ideas. I’m glad I didn’t choose it because I think you can do a way better job of it than I ever could have.

LadyMedusa > Haha… yes, he´s a strong guy!
RageOfAges > Thank you!
I once watched a zombie ninja flick and it was the cheesiest thing i have seen to this day. So i thought, why not take this and try to make something cool and funny out of it, by adding even more cheese!!
This is Joe the main hero. I used max hair+fur and mental ray with final gather for rendering. Render time was about 2 min.
the main character model’s very good…and the render you show is very nice. Good progress!
n-drew > Danke!
Yongkiat > Thanks!
I´ve also started sculpting the first version of the Space Zombie Ninja. I think i´ve already got the Space Ninja part… now i´m trying to add more of a Zombie look. :bounce:
Hope i can post a good version soon!
This thread is looking great. Excellent work on the main character. I especially like the look of those alien ninjas. And I love your B-movie plot and applaud the fact that a dog is somehow one of the heroes. I’m not sure why there are so many dogs in B-movies but there do seem to be plenty of them and so I think it’s a great choice to include one.
That’s a film I want to see! Keep up the great work
Thank you very much mdavid!
I also noticed that dogs are quite popular in B-movies… They can´t do many of the things that humans can do, but there´s also stuff they can do that humans can´t. This helps to create tension in situations of danger and dogs are simply honest and cool animals.
I´m also glad I´m not the only one who would like to see this movie…

Here´s the first version of the Space Zombie Ninjas. I wonder now what weapons do S.Z.N.s have? Lightsabers?
Thanks
I didn´t think of him as a Ninja Turtle parody, but thought about adding the kind of mask they wear, intead of the headband…
Alien ninja guy is looking fantastic. I also have trouble imagining what kind of weapon they would have. Normally I’d expect ray guns in a space B-movie but that doesn’t sound very ninja. Perhaps a small sword with a glowing blade
Love the ninja alien man. Really starting to flesh out your concept now, it seems.

Thanks a lot
Yes, probably it has to be something glowy, or perhaps very jaggy, like theese Klingon blades… probably it will be a mix of both

Thanks a lot  The concept sketch translated much easier in 3D than i thought. Fleshing the model out really is pure fun, especially with Mudboxs realtime rendering capabilities. :buttrock:
