B-Movie Entry: Samuel Poirier

#21

Thank everyone for feelback, always great to read it! thank

#22

Love her face. I think her arms look a bit too thick, or heavy. Overall, I think she looks very nice. :buttrock:

#23

I didn’t notice the arms.

Anyway Lookin gOOd!

#24

They’re those long things on either side of those round things you were staring at.

#25

OOH… You’re right!

Thanks Webhead!

#26

Awesome work so far. Face topology looks great. Will you be doing some facial animation along the way? Really amazing anatomy skills. :buttrock:

#27

Very nice work so far.

Here's some quick things I noticed:

To my eye the head appears to small or the torso too big. Generally the torso should be roughly three heads long from the chin down to the crotch for a realistically stylized character. I'd just make the head bigger.

The iliac crest appears to be riding way to high in the front or you have some weird muscle protrusion there on the sides where the obliques are.

I'd widen the shoulders a tad. You might run into trouble with heavy ribcage interpenetration of the arms in a fully relaxed position later if you dont. Try it out with Transpose.

The upper thoracic spine seems to be pushed in a tad too much between the shoulder-blades and the 7th cervical vertebrae is hardly prominent at all.

You already have some nice character going on in the face, but there's something odd about the eyes. I think they are angled up a tad too much or may be sitting too high as a whole.

Why don't you show us some more body pics for more precise crits?

Cheers!:arteest:

webhead: Your right, i’ll fix that in the pose version. thank

Aven99: thank buddy

ravioli_rancher: Actually no, anyways not for this challenge. Thx

TheRazorsEdge: I’m fully agreat with your crit, i 'll check this points when resculpting in the pose version. Going also to post more view. thank man. I’m in mudbox so i don’t use transpose. Just going to do a rig in maya.

#29

i hate this warning…seriously! :bounce:

Awesome modeling !

#30

Wow…really nice head…and breast sculpt… I do agree about the head being a tad smaller than it should…Overall top form!

#31

Thank i’m glad you like it guys!

Pose but only few min of tweak. Going to work on anatomy tommorrow. details, suit etc.

#32

She looks great Vimmy! Very promising work. I can’t wait to see more!

#33

Thank man, Your entry is going very well, Nice shader so far on your pin-up. Very soft i like it.

#34

Wow! C’est malade!
I really like the poster sketch, really in the mood.
Combined with what I saw your portfolio and I’m sure it’s gonna be awesome!

Bon travail!

#35

Nice sculpts, both here and on your portfolio. Looking forward to seeing where you take this. Do you do your character posing in a sculpting program or an animation program?

#36

JRGauthier: merci Pour le support quebecois ! I saw your thread and this is a realy cool design, can’t wait to see the final.

ScottMc: Thank buddy, well it rig in maya, i don’t specialy use the transpose tool for this kind of pose… i feel more confortable and I can more easily understand the gestural and dynamic in a soft like maya. A bit longer but it more precise… for me.

#37

Work a bit on her tonight. still in wip for the suit, props. folds etc

#38

good work but what happened to the other boob? Looks nice and i like how you put the cloths on the character very nice…

#39

Hahaha, a B-movie need definitely two boobs .

Perspective… mix with the curved spine pose effect. I should fix that.

#40

Excellent, very nice model (apart from the uniboob, obviously, but error is to be fixed, I’m sure).

Un autre québécois. Excellent!

Good luck, and I’m lovin’ it.
