I also submit the lighter version of the image. Don’t know which one is better…

ashtonzashes - thx for very kind words. Talent? Nah… I simply put very hard work and sweat to achive some kind of nice (I hope) result. You don’t want to know how many hours I spend to make something looks good. There are a lot more talented people around. Once again thx for comment.

rasamaya - hey thx for comment. I was trying to fix thoese bottom monsters by working on their shadows and feet. Hope they looks better now. Thanks again.

So here is my next update. Lots of new stuff appears. At last some pictures on the walls has been added, some textures on monsters, walls. Light getting more spread across the characters and environment, some bugs fixed. Still there are some stuff to play around. I will try to play more with the light. Maybe some color corrections…Don’t know… I’m doing my best to achive more working picture in general. If you have some suggestions go ahead. Every help is a gold.

So take care. Cheers!

(Don’t ask me why I know something like ‘Powerpuff Girls’!).

That’s a really nice perspective and contrast, I like your style.
Perhaps you should drop one of the evil ones to the ground, hit by one of the girls … or holding his head …

Hmm, I wonder whether one should pick a movie like format like (in Germany) DIN A1 or similar stuff. Something to put a headline on.

Nothing to crit man, wonderful image. Are you planning on making a poster out of it? I think I would prefer it as just an image; no text.

DeadInTheAttic - Powerpuff Girls ! Yeah! I didn’t realize it till now! They seems to have some similarities hehe. Nice suggestions for the creature poses… I will think about it if I have a time. About movie format. It quite good idea. I must consider this at the end of process. No time to do it right now I think. That’s very nice comment thank You kindly!

aimanimation - thx ! No I’m not planning a poster style in here. I think about it as a scene from a movie not promotional thing. Anyway I’m thinking about some cool image title. Like “Attack of deadly creatures from other dimension” or something like that to catch b-movie feeling. Ok see you around.

Soo I’ve been playing with colors and discovered that my previous colors was waaay to saturated so I changed that + enhance lighting effect a bit. Also I feel that I miss b-movie feeling. So I add a little zipper to foreground monster to suggest cheap costumes. I also planning to add another person. A midget starting to take on a monster costume to suggest that this is onaly a movie scene. Ok so here it is… so it is time to back to work again. See You!

Here are some new elements. The far left character in monster suit and also on far right on the locker I put a face in monster mouth. I’m planning to add some film making equipment on far lef… such like microphone on extension or something like that. I will see…

#42

ok my friend had really cool idea with turning the image to camera frame. Now it has more common with b-movie theme I think. Feel free to comment if it’s bad or good idea… I’m still don’t sure about this trick.

#43

looks great for me

#44

IMHO the video frame is not a good idea. To me its technical look hurts the atmosphere, the “painting”-like feel and colours. It also cuts through nice details, like the picture on the wall or the monster from the air duct. But maybe that’s just me.

I don't think you have to stick too literal to the "movie" in "b-movie". I'd think that subjects worthy of a b-movie can also be covered here. Many entries do not literally depict a movie shooting or poster. Girls fighting an invasion of monsters is definitively b-movieish in itself.

But if you want to go for a movie shooting, I think the boom mic in the scene or the zipper of a costume showing are subtle hints and very plausible for a b-movie. The camera frame (of a battery-run run amateur cam) and an actor putting his costume on in front of the camera is not (though the costume design is great!). But that is just my opinion. And it's your creation after all.

But anyway I hope the three sisters survive the monster plague! Go get them, girls

bah…
First of all big thx for feedback.

rossolis - thx man! I sneak peek for your entry and it’s quite cool with that giant punk-tomato. Hope you finish on time. See ya!

archaeotect - thx for big/fat comment  Yeah the frame thing wasn’t good idea. Also I have noticed someone else doing exacly the same thing with frame so I dropped that idea. But I kept my actor on the costume on far left of the corner. That could help b-movie vibe just a little bit I think. Once again thx and stay alive.

Andias - thx! Nice pin-ups btw.

Ok Time to throw another update… For the most part You probably don’t see any difference cause by small image format but I added a lot small shadows here and there, I’ve cut short a little bit of width of left side of the image because the wall seems to be too big. So generally I’ve been jumping around image and fixing different stuff. I think that finish is very near… I’m glad about that because it was exhausting project and the most complicated picture I’ve been working on so far with all these creatures and perspective…heh

Ok see you soon.

Getting really close now… Just final touches all around the image… The end is near…

Software: Photoshop

This is a survival horror movie about three brave sisters who have been attacked by evil reptilia monsters from other dimension. The creatures have been teleported through a portal directly to the girl’s house. Their main goal is to kidnap the youngest sister for their dark queen to fulfill a terrible revenge plan on the human race. The girls don’t give up that easy and are determined to fight with the mischievous critters.

Some snapshots for more details…

Guy in 3D glasses is my fav. I feel some “walrus influence” here, especially in painting of girls.

Anyway congrats, glad to see homies in this challenge

#51

Congratulations for finishing! This looks great, for me the best part is the lighting of the room, the background looks so realistic… ah, and also the textures on the monsters are looking specially good!
good job! :thumbsup::arteest:

#52

I really want to see this as animated movie with the same style.

Fatastic all around!

#53

lovely color and light /dark composition good luck!

#54

Looks great Serio! Congrats on finishing. I’m glad you decided to leave the camera recording frame out. I like it a lot more like this. If you go towards the right then it seems like a great adventure with these three girls, If you go left you realize its a movie set without it being too forced. Just tons of great detail to look at in this image.

#55

Congratulations for this great concept. All the best ! And now time for a tequila  Cheers!!
