Francisco-- thanks man, yeah this movie is one of my favorite horror classic and also their cartoon series…
just flipping the image to see if its ok… and this would be my final… any comments and suggestions before i upload the final image would be helpful…
i think ill go without the text on it coz it covers all the details on the image… anyway everybody recognizes him hehehe…
There are so many details in your work and almost finished, I think your fireplace may be flat, you can use levels in ps to make the depth.
Great job on the details. Again!
Just a suggestion:
The fire is a bit flat without it lighting the front part of the fire place. With that big of a fire it would cause at least in front to be brighter then is right now.
Job well done either way!
Hello, Boils and Ghouls
My aim here is to make up a photo realistic studio set up, where Crypt Keeper would be sitting in a cozy leather arm chair… near in a fire place with spooky backgrounds and spider webs etc… hes about to introduce the story of the episode You, Murderer, (1995) is particularly noteworthy since it was one of the first shows ever filmed that used computer effects to digitally insert actors into an episode. The episode was directed by series producer Robert Zemeckis, who had recently directed Forrest Gump which utilized these effects. (wikipedia)
My approach to this image is like a photo montage… base on my concept sketch ill be gathering different kinds of pictures from google.com and cgtextures.com and put it in my scene and set up the light and shadows and the mood of the image. more like a matte painting process… only it’s an interior shot.
any comments and suggestions would be very helpful…

Well, First off, let me say it looks great. You have three contrasting sources of light right now. The blue moon is too bright I think. The candle doesn’t read since there is no halo around it. Its up to you to pick which you want to be your main source of light, the fire or the moon. Right now my eye keeps jumping to the moon - you want my eye to keep going back to the cryptkeeper.
Hey Peter,
Nice work!
Like a lot the room, really cool textures and atmosphere!
Good luck and cheers!!
