adding some ashtray and cigar to add more detail to the scene
B-Movie Entry: Peter Ang
so im almost done with my entry already adjusted the lights on the background to make Mr. Creeper pop out on the scene…
Hmm i have a question though…
Does it really need to have a title and made up actors name? or we can pass the artwork just an image without no text at all…

Hum I don’t think, but my english is not perfect, so maybe I did not read the rules correctly, but I wasn’t going to put text in my compo too.
Well, tales of the crypt was one of my favourit series when I was younger
!
your comp match very mutch the feeling of this cool TV-show.
I like the details work, colors and lights, it’s great !
just one thing, it’s personnal, but maybe your image need more depht, I don’t know how you could play with that because you have already done so much work. maybe : play with warm tone in the front element and cold in back, or invers. so Mr, creeper will pop up.but that just an idea
your comp is already great.
You can recheck the rules, but I don’t recall ever reading one that said “your entry MUST have text in it.” I actually liked the text in your image, but unless you find a rule that states that it’s required, you can take it out if you like it better that way.
I will add that everything is reading a lot better than it used to - nice work on those improvements! ![]()
Fed-- thanks man glad you like it… hhmm yeah ill try to put more cool color tones at the back… thanks
Walrus-- yeah i think so well already posted a question at the FAQ thread, thanks good luck in your entry
Francisco-- thanks man, yeah this movie is one of my favorite horror classic and also their cartoon series…
just flipping the image to see if its ok… and this would be my final… any comments and suggestions before i upload the final image would be helpful…
i think ill go without the text on it coz it covers all the details on the image… anyway everybody recognizes him hehehe…
There are so many details in your work and almost finished, I think your fireplace may be flat, you can use levels in ps to make the depth.
Great job on the details. Again!
Just a suggestion:
The fire is a bit flat without it lighting the front part of the fire place. With that big of a fire it would cause at least in front to be brighter then is right now.
Job well done either way!
Hello, Boils and Ghouls
My aim here is to make up a photo realistic studio set up, where Crypt Keeper would be sitting in a cozy leather arm chair… near in a fire place with spooky backgrounds and spider webs etc… hes about to introduce the story of the episode You, Murderer, (1995) is particularly noteworthy since it was one of the first shows ever filmed that used computer effects to digitally insert actors into an episode. The episode was directed by series producer Robert Zemeckis, who had recently directed Forrest Gump which utilized these effects. (wikipedia)
My approach to this image is like a photo montage… base on my concept sketch ill be gathering different kinds of pictures from google.com and cgtextures.com and put it in my scene and set up the light and shadows and the mood of the image. more like a matte painting process… only it’s an interior shot.
any comments and suggestions would be very helpful…
