I’ve narrowed it down to a few for now, so I played around with some Titles to try and get a retro-ish feel to them…

Was just thinking about the donut one…

I had this idea about a big goofy looking animatronic/puppet Donut…

and perhaps a mad scientist that is creating these “scheming donuts”

while i haven’t finalised what the final subject will be i do have a good idea for the overall concept

i’m going to attempt a pixar-y-ish type of look (something i’ve never done) and have it be like a little behind the scenes diorama

things i might include:

  • bluescreening a giant monster off to one side (donut of doom!)
  • cameras, lights and other film equipment
  • some dodgy set pieces
  • visible puppeteers

character wise i’m thinking of the following

  • typical hero
  • typical heroine
  • monster
  • director
  • camera man

i recently watched UP and was just feeling really inspired to do something in that style so i figured this is as good a chance as any…

some concepts soon…

EDIT: @razeeem, not to worry, i haven’t worked out exactly what i’m doing yet…

You’ve got a good thread going already. I personally liked the tongues from earth…Somehow an invasion from our own planet has a backward style of humour to it!!.

i’ve just had an idea…its based around the ‘santa claus vs the bees from another world’ concept

think ‘imagination vs reality’
