I thought the same thing with the nipples… Maybe too big too…
Do you plan to do a specular map to remove the specular on the beard and the horns ?

I haven’t any sketch for the lighting because I exactly know what I want to achieve on that point. But trying differents lighting is, I think, always a good exercise, I learn a lot this way.

Here is the progress for the boy and Teddy.
Hands are not finished, I need to refine some little things on the sculpt for Teddy and on the boy.There are no specular map or other, only colours maps (in progress). Still a lot of things to do. I’m planning to create a decent velet shader for teddy and to push higher all the shaders and textures.

I really like the teddys expression. and the anatomy sculpt was nicely done.

I like the way you did the hair on the boy, and the wrinkles in his clothes. The boy looks a little bit stiff for some reason.

This is one of my fav threads. Hard to find things to crit but i am not too sure about the blue color for the bear, and also the reason the boy looks a bit stiff is bcuz his hand is very straight out. The fingers should be bending more and the thumb could dig more into the bear to really make it feel like he is squishing it, but thats being a bit picky…

Hey Olive,

Fantastic models and great design on your charcaters. The textures of the boy’s face are simply awesome. Perhaps you can put the monster looking directly to the boy and tedy, and tedy and the boy looking to the monster to focus the attention in the 3 characters. Only a comment :slight_smile: Great work so far and waiting for more updates. Cheers!! :smiley:
