Hi,

Here is quick thumbnail sketch of a tongue and cheek look at 50’s Sci-Fi B movies.

#3

I love the layout here. It feels very authentic.

#4

Now that’s a classic old-style scifi concept. Love the raygun!

#5

Nice composition as it’s perfect to be a poster.

#6

Just playing around with refining the thumbnail, still mulling the whole thing over.

Thanks for the comments.

Is this work inspired by the REAL Krakken of Uranus? I heard it’s HUGE!!
Looking great man! Best of luck presenting your Krakken to the general public!

Classic B-movie poster! Looks good, but is it possible to show more story? Keep up the great work!

#9

When I bend over it gives a whole new meaning to “Release the Krakken”.

#10

Thanks, I’m going to flesh it out a bit more just not sure what that will be right at this moment.

#11

Very good work

Well, i think that sea-guns have to be ripple sound shoots, and not a fire or things like that. Think about.

Tweaking composition, I’ve added a character (to the rescue) as well as adjusted the horizon line (planet) and tightened a few curves up here and there, still trying to figure a few things out.

#13

Man this is screaming B movie. Nice work so far. Keep it up :wip:

Good to see you here! I’m having a little trouble reading the image, especially over the text… but the title of your entry has me literally LOL. I love it! (And wish I’d thought of it! ) Looking forward to seeing where you go with it. Good luck and have fun!

Olie! This is looking great…I was just skimming through and yours immediately drew me in. I was doing a little research on this and I was running into ray guns and rockets as you have so greatly portrayed.
I will be bookmarking this one.
