B-Movie Entry: Marco Fantechi

some color changes

#18

The coloring on the characters is looking really nice. Personally, I thought that the lighter sky color you had before made it a stronger piece: Being less saturated, it guided your eye to the main character. Right now, everything is all at a really high level of saturation, which is overly intense. And most of the picture - the grass, the backdrop, and her clothes - are all a really similar value to each other. Dropping the sky back to a lighter value and less saturation made the piece feel more harmonious and less “in your face.” Just my opinion, though!

haha, loving it. The only thing to me is that she is not really grounded in the image. Se needs a shadow and the lighter sky might help as well to bring focus back on her.

faces close-up

#21

Hey Marco,

Cool updates !

Abut of the text position, I like #2 and #4.
The render of the faces look awesome.

I agree with Walrus, perhaps the before colors work better with the concept, only a comment

Great work and waiting for more updates!

#22

Aiman; Michael; Fernando: Thanks for your useful feedback friends. I agree with you: a lighter sky will be better. Thanks again for your help!

#23

background changed with brighter colors.
maybe I’ll add some sort of clouds

#24

Hey Marco,

Like the new colors on the image. Perhaps you can add some purple tone to the sky on the bottom part, like in your previous images, to integrate it a bit with “La Fuoriclasse” football suit. The grass can be a bit uniform on color, you can go for a darker green from de foreground to a lighter yellow-green to the 2 characters standing. Don´t forget the bouncing light, put some purple tone over the field and some green tones over the faces on the 2 men and on the legs of the girl ( You probably already thought, not mind me :D).

I totally loved “La Fuoriclasse”, greate pose and gesture, sexy and innocent, fantastic work !!
Waiting for more updates. Cheers!!

#25

refining the image.

#26

Hey Fernando!
Thanks for your feedback:they’re great and I’ll add all the elements you suggested in my next updates, to make the image better.

#27

Hey Marco,

Goshh beautiful girl!! like a lot the new color for the football suit, works really great with the girl. The background colors look really nice too. Great work my friend and waiting for more updates. Cheers!!

adding final details

#29

This is looking gorgeous, Marco! sHe is totally hot, and the whole thing is a lot of fun. You’re pretty much done except for the “bla blas” at the bottom… But seeing as you have a lot of time left, relatively speaking, I’ll just toss out some nitpicky details to think about

The upper tagline and the logo at the bottom might pop more with a bit of a black hard-edged drop-shadow.

I’m not a huge fan of the pinkish purple in the sky by the horizon. I feel like it distracts from the color of her shirt without adding anything. Maybe if it were a deeper blue instead of pink… but that’s just personal preference.

While she’s looking terrific and sexy, her skin overall is a bit on the matte side. Some stronger specular hilgihts on her could really take her the rest of the way to being alive. Ditto some strong anisotropic hilights on here hair, which is looking especially flat.

And the little bouncy line from the ball coming off of her foot feels unfinished, too roughed in and sketchy for the rest of the piece… Maybe you just haven’t got to it yet. Don’t forget it!

Anyhow, hope you don’t mind the small details, my friend… shows how far you’ve come if that’s all I can think to crit! But otherwise, pretty much done. Congrats!

#30

Just changesd few things (girl’s body was quite strange, with wrong proportions).

#31

I’m still not sure about the background supporters, but I think I’ll delete them.

#32

adding some paper effects…

#33

some closeups of the actors

#34

Hey Marco,

Great work, love all the characters really great cartoon style on the image, cool.

Only two things concern me a bit  The eyes oft the man-ball-face on the top left maybe can be looking directly to the face of the girl, for now the feel is he are looking for some in her hand and create a distraction. The other is again the eyes, but for the face of the man on the kicked ball , perhaps the eyes looking to the girl too, for no draging the attention out of the canvas. … silly comment dont listen to me

I prefer the image without the paper effect.

Awesome work, and great details and painting on it. Cheers!!

#35

yes, I prefered the more saturated version too… but I like your new title, I think it looks much better!
all the characters are looking great! my favourite one is the one with the glasses, hehe…
:applause:
