Lol this is great. Love the text. Made me think of when my gf got laser eye surgery and was disappointed that she couldn’t shoot lasers out of her eyes after.

You’ve really captured the spirit of 50s-60s B movie posters with this one. It’s almost good enough as it is, if your aim is to emulate the painterly style of Reynold Brown’s famous posters :bowdown:

So, I had the whole concept in my mind already and did some sketches at work that I painted yesterday.
BUT, I started the models first. I just didn’t post them just yet but I did quite a bit of work on the bonobo and the pin-up face between Sat-Sun. Between Thu and Fri night I cleaned up/remodeled some old models/topologies that needed a cleaner topology that works better in ZBrush (more even quads, less stars, that ZBrush has a hard time subdiving, creating a not very smooth surface…). I’ll start posting some progress on the models, maybe tonight.

Thanks again for all your kind words. This challenge will be fun!

The girl is only a head at this point and I’m still looking for references of standing Bonobos. If anyone reading this have any reference of standing bonobos, please post it :slight_smile:
I have enough references for his head but body and hands references would be very appreciated!

thanks! Your work is fantastic!

I know some people would enjoy the cartoon version better, like the one in the concept, but the intention is to go for something more realistic. I might have some time to play around with a more stylized version at the end but not sure if I’ll have this time.

Now back to the pin-up girl.
