Hello !!, well i think the image is looking better and better, , and with the sss sking on the girl and some ps tricks u will end up with a very cool art work!! cant wait to see it man :applause:
B-Movie Entry: Imkan Hayati
Hey Paperboy,
The girl looks really great, like the faint feel in her pose, cool !
Perhaps you need to make the dress flow like the hair, the follow through of the motion, only a comment
Great work !! Cheers!! ![]()
rattlesnake: Thanks for the kind words! I hope the final image will look good  , the main things I will photoshop is the hair, just add some details to make it more feel like flowing hair, I will also try out adding some saliva dripping from the tongue and see how that looks and feels with the final image.
ferx: Glad you like the pose
, thanks for the many cool comments you have given me!! Yeah maybe you are right and the dress needs to flow abit more behind her, again if I do modify that, it probably will be in Photoshop.
whitemagus: Thank you for your kind comment, I’m hoping the final image will be better still, have to wait and see.
So since my last post I have set up the sss for the woman, tongue and chicken, so hoping it will look fine once the render has finished, I have also amended the final story a little bit to taking into account why the woman is in her Nighty
.
So, and now I have set my computer off to rendering the hi-res image, unfortunately my computer crashed during my overnight render from Wednesday to Thursday (the first time my pc has ever crashed with Windows 7 on it, what were the chances!!!:argh: ) So can see why it’s best to try to finish stuff earlier, to give you more time if things like this happen!!
So anyways I set it rendering again Thursday morning, and it’s still rendering. Last time I looked it’s been 25 hours
, well I am rendering it all out at once (silly? maybe! I am feeling drained at the moment, and just want to get it rendered), and it’s mainly the area lights and the volume lights going through the feathers, that has caused the long render time. So once it’s finished will do some polish work and a few amendments to the poster and hopefully post the final entry.
So anyways, since this is my final post before the final entry post, I just wanted to thank everyone in the forum who viewed, commented, supported and encouraged me during this competition!! Thanks guys & gals!
I also want to wish you all good luck in the competition, and look forward to seeing everyones amazing final entries!!!
Also want to give Special thanks to my wife, who put up with the Chicken for far too long
, and my friends at Codies, for their Support and Encouragement.
Final Entry Coming Soon!
This looks great now! What a frightening chicken - hilarious idea!
You nailed the coloring good to, tasteful but still a bit B-movie, well done. The skyscraper is really cool too - I’m sure you will have no problems in making this into a super final
the thumbnail are to small to be clearly watched.
but whe whole effect is good.
i mostly interested in the story of you piece,
i guess this is ispired by the move kingkong, but i am curious about why you create a character as the gigantic chicken
The year is 1923, in a small farm on the outskirts of New York City; a farmer by the name of George McClure goes about his business as usual.
A truck arrives at the farm, delivering a new batch of fertiliser, and George off loads 6 barrels, which he takes and deposits in the Chicken shed.
Unknown to George, the fertiliser contains a high percentage of Toxic and Radioactive material, used to encourage increased growth of crops, and one of the barrels had been damaged on transit and was leaking large amounts of the substance into one of the chicken pens feeding trays.
The helpless chicken living in the pen, hungrily kept on eating from its trough, and slowly a mutation was taking place. The Hen was growing larger and larger, and its feathers were slowly being shed, the Farmer freaked out, not knowing what to do, he rushed out to get his axe to slaughter the Giant Chicken, by this time the Chicken had grown to be the size of the shed and had already devoured its Chicken friends.
As George ran back, the Chicken burst out of the shed destroying the structure, and using it?s newly acquired long tongue grabbed the Farmer and crushed him to death.
Soon, stories of this Giant Chicken spread like wild fire, and people wanted to see this Chic Kong as it was now called. A crazy business tycoon by the name of Eric Fudge decides that by capturing Chic Kong and bringing him to New York, he can get people to pay for the spectacle and make lots of money.
So he sets out with a team of hunters on an expedition to capture Chic Kong, which they manage to do using large canisters of sleeping gas fired in the vicinity of the Giant Chicken.
Chic Kong is then taken on the back of a large trailer to New York, where it is chained up inside a Theatre some where on Time Square.
The unveiling of Chic Kong was all going to plan, until the curtains were opened and people started taking pictures. The Camera Flashes enraged the Chicken who with great effort shattered the chains that fettered him and broke loose. The people panicked as Chic Kong?s tongue lashed out and it tore its way out of the theatre and onto the streets.
The military were called in to deal with this irregular situation. By the time they arrived on the scene Chic Kong had found itself a very attractive Blonde hostage, grabbing her using its tongue, whilst she was combing her hair unaware in her Hotel Room wearing nothing but her nightgown. It had also found a nice perch to which it could try and protect itself, The Empire State Building!!
Now choppers were brought in to take on this menace, and so Chic Kong placed his feminine hostage safely to one side, so that it could concentrate on its flying assailants. Unfortunately for it, the choppers were too many and the wounds it was sustaining from the guns was too much for its pimpled skin to take, and it succumbed to it?s injuries and fell all the way down from the top of the building to the ground, dead.
The End.
