And here is the scene so far…
B-Movie Entry: Francisco Alvarez
That’s looking good, I especially like the little guy on the UFO. The diffuse lighting is a nice touch too. My only crit at this stage is that it looks too high budget for a B-movie - maybe make the ground look like it’s an obvious small-scale model, with distance blur on near and / or distant objects. Nice so far anyway.
That’s looking really strong, man! If you don’t mind me asking, what program did you use to add the colors, is it polypainting in Z-Brush?
BaronImpossible- thanks a lot man… glad you like the little guy… people seem to like him as well… as far as the look I have notice that comment before…I will try and use depth of field to showcase the enviroment as something sort of like a miniature… thanks! good luck to you as well
PaulRMcD - thanks a lot Paul…I dont mind you asking me man… I unwraped the characters and background and I used mostly photoshop for texturing… I did use projection master in zbrush to layout a very rough colour guide but the bulk of the texturing was done in photshop… good luck with your entry too… it was looking awesome last time I checked
hello there, this is looking very cool…really love all the work so far, with some post fx will rock mate!!.. :arteest: :arteest: :arteest:
Hey Francisco,
That is great!! Love that two guys, great textures on both and awesome details.
Like a lot the background and the destroyed highway.
Think you can overlap a bit the little alien and the giant to has a reference on size and position of both on your last composition. ( in this image is not clear if the alien is flying over the robotic arm , or in front, or back ) and maybe you can put the alien in a more “surfing pose” (or if you want the “dominant” look, maybe with the arms cross)
Awesome work !! and waiting for more
Cheers!!
Man, your characters simply rock!!!
:bounce: especially the blue one. They are so cool I´d love to have small toys of them on my desk :p. Definitely yours and the baby lagoon creature of Bob Wallace are by far my favorites.
Good luck.

are you going to add some depth of field ? :arteest:
Looking really good. Maybe some more reflected light on the underside of his belly and legs, though, as it’s a bit dark.
Software: 3ds max,Maya,mental ray,Photoshop,ZBrush
We all ignored the warning signs and now the carnivorous funny looking creatures come to take over earth!
BaronImpossible - hey man thanks… I tried to light him up a bit…just uploaded the final… hopefully its not too dark… thanks for the support man.
