A bit more of the big blue guy… Added the tentacles …everything still needs a couple of passes before I move on to the next guy…
B-Movie Entry: Francisco Alvarez
Great! :applause:
Nice monster, lot of personality. I’m also thinking on modeling my characters already posed. That would save a lot of time on rigging. I’ll have to think about it… :lightbulb
Keep on!
I see…I think it’s working out quite well doing your way as oppose to T-pose then sculpt.
Marat-Ars - thanks!
Danko - thanks man, yeah it does save time on rigging for sure, but it might add a bit of time sculpting (no symmetry) and also modeling, but on the good side it gives a very fluid and asymmetrical look…
Intervain - thanks a lot… hopefully I have enough time to finish the whole thing
Yongkiat - thanks man, for the other guy I am going T pose - sculpt and then at the end pose him when he is totally done… his pose is less extreme and I can probably finish it faster if I go t pose…
here is the zphere construction of the blue guy and the smaller guy now with helmet in b movie style!
Beautiful work!
I’ve yet to use zpheres for a character but this challenge could be a good reason to give it a try. Do you retain any symmetry working this way or do you just work on the model as a whole?
You should have the whole thing finished next week!
Hahaha!
I agree with Robin, I was avoiding using the word but…
DAMN! They are cute!! hahaha

Hi,
that is very nice. I love something like this stuff.
Good luck for the Challenge.
That blue guy reminded me of Stitch from the disney movie.
I love the character designs and how it’s turning out. Can’t wait to see more.
Wow killer modeling!!!
It turns out really well in 3D!
If I would have one critique, imo it’s almost too cool and not “b-moviish” enough.
But I guess too cool can be good too in certain way
