“…jumping from the third rope…”
Hahaha, excellent!!! Would love to see him against “Hogan”, But that’s another B_movie to come!
Unlike you, I’m used to have maybe 98 percent of the stuff locked in before I even touch my HB pencil, also the poses and unspoken dialogs between characters in the scene, cam angle and lighting, but the way you work, offers much more freedom and a wider range of impulses and creativity, after all, our minds change from day to another, and then it can all be projected into the ongoing scene! I would really like to try that, very tempting!
I like the new scene and the dynamic in it, though my favorite remain to be number three, with addition od Mark’s suggestion!
Cheers a lot Amigo!

B-Movie Entry: Fernando Porcel
Heya Ferx, really like the composition and perspective you’re using here, love your style and the characters in this piece, it’ll be great to see where you take this next! ![]()
Hi Fernando! Great to see you here too!
The idea of working on “local” b-movie is great! I have seen some “Luchadores movies” images
on the web (what about “Santo contra los zombies”? It’s amazing!).
You’re doing a great job. I like the composition and I hope to see improvements soon.
Good luck!
Ferx,
 Greatness!
I like the enemy clinging to the luchador’s boot in the first comp. Also, the sky over the villians in the second comp feels like too much open space, and tends to make the scene feel emptier than necessary. The environment from the first comp really shines through.
But, seeing as how my hard drive keeps crashing and trashing all my work, maybe I’ve gone psychotic and am incapable of appreciating sensible design and layout. :banghead:
Anyway, still love this entry. Especially the first layout. Of course, Twenty plus days is still plenty of time for a few more layout sketches. :arteest:
Maxim Thanks for your words! :D
Torsten Thanks my friend for your encouragement. Ok, I try to finish both images
… hahahaha, I hope

Mark Thanks buddy. I dont decided yet, but think that Night of Ajolotes is a more strong concept that this, you are right
Thanks for your support. Cheers!!
Paperboy Thanks mate for your words, I really appreciate it. I´m thinking seriously to make both images
. But firs I need to choose one for the challenge :D
Greg Thanks for dropping by, appreciate your comment, thanks!!
Mathias Thanks my friend for your kind words, an extra motivation!! I love to explore the concept and change my mind too often hahahaha, but I enjoy a lot drawing and painting and those challenges are a fantastic opportunity to learning and practice with a lot of incredible artists. Again really thanks for your comment. Cheers kompis!!

Sean Thanks mate for your words, really glad that you liked the concept :D
Marco Hey my friend. Thanks for your comment
Yes, I think that can be cool to make an image based on our locals B-movie styles, and more if , in my case, Santo and luchadores films are the inspiration :D
Cori Thanks my friend for your encouragement and support. Yes, you are right. Perhaps I have a lot of negative space over the action in the second composition, thanks for point that.
(If you are having troubles with your computer, 2 or 3 kicks always are the solution
:D)
Man I´m really, really envious…
I´m still battling with just one concept for my image and you are throwing many good ideas&sketches as if it was nothing, and probably you will still have enough time to finish your image easily enough…
Anyway, for whats worth I do prefer this last concept with just some minor modifications:
I would drop the light bulb from the squid arm guy, and move the “luchador” a little more to the center, right now it gives me the impression that he won´t fall right over the bad guys, that he will miss them “by this much…” I don´t know if I explain myself right?
One question, are all the small green guys, mini versions of the mutant - ajolote?
Keep the good work man!
Waiting for the next update.
I liked the design of the characters, they pretty cool!
I’m asking you a favor: please visit my entry an do some comments…no one has commented besides you!
Thanks!
Octavio - Thanks mate for your comment. You are right, maybe “Luchador” fails his try to jump over the bad guys, good point. Yes the little creatures are an “ajolote” mutants. Thanks again for your suggestions. Cheers!
Miguel Angel - Thanks mate for your words!, appreciate it.
I can’t resist to refine a bit the composition 04 (‘Jumping from the third rope’
)
Ok, think I need to try a new composition
Lucha libre for the win! Good luck, concept looks great.
Just watched WrestleManiac on Netflix - good B Movie stuff.
Great concept, looks like a B-movie ! About the composition, I really like the right part of this image, maybe the left part is a bit weird but I couldn’t explain why… maybe about perspective…
You’ve done a great job anyway. Can’t wait to see more from you !
Cheers !
Nice concept once again man. The scene overall is nicely laid out. I really like the doctor ha hes sweet. Well put. ![]()
The colors that u use for mood is fantastic. Works ery well in the wide format.Excellent!
that last update looks great! I really like what you did with the lights in Dr. Muerte and Mr. Big Guy…
composition is looking really good too… maybe if I had to modify something, it would be that the 3 ajolotes at the top, holding to the hero, doesn’t form such a straight line, I think that an arch would be better, maybe u could move that the middle one higher… just a suggestion, looking forward to the rest of it!!
<-- here you have some chelas de combustible!
This is a GREAT concept- in all seriousness you should model out that most recent one for sure! It’s dynamic, great lighting, composition and exciting! Go for it, are you painting it in Painter or PS? Really doesn’t need much more except maybe some more details and textures! No crits on the concept or composition of the characters.
The final concept is very good, looks really like the climax of a B-movie. Dr. Muerte looks very good now. The alojotes are funny, but the squid arm of the guy looks hidden, maybe you can show it with little more perspective. Also the scene looks like ‘underwater’, maybe changing the pose of some of the falling alojotes will fix it (or directly make it underwater, hahaha, it would be interesting too)
Keep posting!!!
Marcus Thanks for your words mate!! :)
Marco Thanks my friend, glad that you liked :D. The original image is 4768 X 2776 px.
Olive Thanks for your kind words. Yes, you are right maybe the two ajolotes on the left side are out of perspective and that create the weird feel.
Ronny Thanks mate. Glad that you liked the mad and evil Dr. Muerte :D
Fernando (Freelah) Really thanks for your words, I appreciate it. Cheers!!
Fer (elmasfeo) Hey tocayo. Thanks for your comment, you are totally right about the position of the flying ajolotes, and I´m taking note on your suggestions. Thanks for the beer, I need a lot to finish the concept
Cheers!!

CK Thanks mate, glad that you liked the concept. Im using Painter for this illustrations, love that software

Eduardo Thanks mate for the comment. You are right, the poses for the falling ajolotes need some work, taking note on your suggestions. Thanks again for the support. Cheers!! :D
A silly idea for a variation in the concept… uhh I need to work seriously and no more turns … hahahaha
only 16 days for the deadline …
Hei Fer;
This last experiment is a very sensitive and nice composition, looking into the private dull life of a mighty and popular wrestler, on a sunday afternoon, home alone, and with an empty bag of salsa chips, broken TV and …
I like the way you have divided the backspace with those frames, good size and placements, I think this alone could make for a great render sometime in your free time!
Go creative, amigo!
