Very nice characters Fer, like them all!
Dr. Muerte, both of them look very good, and evil, but they also seem to know what they are doing,
just look at those capable hands and determined eyes! Hehe, I’m looking forward to see more!

B-Movie Entry: Fernando Porcel
Beautiful sketches - full of character and humour. I like them all too. Perhaps the skinny doc can be the villain and the fat character can be his assistant. Otherwise, if you were to choose just one then I think they are both easily good enough for the role
Great characters.
I think I like the skinny doctor a bit more, but totally agree with Marks comment on using both.
The mummy is pure fun.
Torsten
Fernando - great character development can’t wait to see how these actors will interact in the scene.
Ajolote and the Mummy are great! I’m not sure about the fat Dr. Muerte, maybe he can be a dwarf, a villain without phisical strengh, but with lots of brain (for evil, of course)
Michael Thanks for your words mate! Ok 1 vote for skinny version of Dr. Muerte
Francisco Thanks mate. Glad that you liked the Aztec mummy concept. :D
Daniel Thanks for your support. Ok, now 1 vote for fat version of Dr. Muerte :D
Mathias Thanks kompis for your encouragement. Yes, both of them are really capable to make evil experiments and conquer the world. Thanks again for your support. Cheers!!
Mark Thanks my friend. The use of both is a really good idea, the evil duo of death
cool
Thank for point that.
Torsten Thanks friend. Yes is a good idea to use both of them. Glad that you liked the mummy concept. Cheers! :D
Ralph - Thanks my friend. Im a bit late with the composition issue I need to start with that. :D
Soapy Thanks friend. Really glad that you liked the designs! Cheers!! :D
Eduardo - Really thanks for your words and encouragement. Is a good idea a weakling Dr. Muerte. I give a try to that idea, thanks!
Diisar Hey my friend!! Thanks for dropping by. :D
Mask concept for the wrestler hero.
Need to work in the composition of the concept, the time is running, but I’m a bit dry of ideas
You are right time is starting to run out. I think you have a great set of concepts for characters, just set up the image and go! :arteest:
Always something to learn from watching your drawings! You can actually draw in 3d, like a turntable!
Amazing!
Cheers amigo!
You have a ton of cool characters, the concept from the first page and the Squid Arm Guy fight scene. With all this material, I´m sure you will come up with a great composition! ![]()
Hi Fernando,
The ’ Luchador’ mask look great already. :bounce:
Maybe you can taper the lower red part (around the mouth) at the hind edge, so this red part gets a little more mouth-shape-like. Not sure if this is in any way understandable. :argh:
But these are just my 2 ct.
Looking forward for more.
Torsten
Soapy - Thanks for your words my friend. You are totally right time is running out… gosh! need a tequila for inspiration… hahahahah
kidding.
Mathias - Thanks amigo!!
The turnarounds of the mask is a defect of a wanbe animator like me… hahahaha
Perhaps the next challenge I go for the animation section… :curious:
Semih - Thanks my friend! Yes, you are rigth , I don’t have more excuses to dont start the composition work … where is the tequila??? need my musa!! hahahahaha… kidding
Torsten - Thanks for your comment, good point for sure, I’m taking note about your suggestion, thanks!! Cheers!!
JAJAJa very nice idea man…
I love the idea of the fat-luchador, it makes justice (although in a funny way) to the Santo/Blue Demon movies. It makes me want to see again “Santo vs. las mujeres vampiro” to have a good laugh at the plastic vampires move with wires.
I can´t wait to see your image in color… are you going for the cartoon color style? or a realistic coloring?
good stuff man keep it up… try to nail down the comp there is still some time left to finish ! Good luck.
The first composition for the concept. Based on my initial sketch.
Think that ‘Luchador’ looks better with the mask in black and white,
In the next compositions I will try to put some of the other bad guys. Inspiration is not in my side until now.
It’s a good start on the composition, Ferx!
I find the light on the right really distracting: Being by far the brightest thing on the page, it pulls the eyes to it and away from everythng else. Have you considered putting it off-screen? Also, it might be nice to add some greater separation between foreground and background, such as really pushing the warm tones on the foreground characters from the light (whether it’s on-screen or not) and emphasizing cool colors in the back. Either way, good luck!
Hi Fernando!
Nice idea ![]()
Also nice concepts, you got a lot of good characters here.
Maybe that is your main problem and not the inspiration - LOT OF CHARACTERS IN ONE SCENE.
I d rather stick to the last composition and not to put anyone else in the scene.
OK maybe just one more, because you have a lot of good concepts for a bad guys and it will be shame not to put some of them i your scene. My vote goes to “Ajolote Mutante”:buttrock:
Sorry for my bad English, but I think that you will understand what I wanted to say.
Good Luck!
