This is fun concept. The giant octopus is a scary monster. I s he causing the Lava burst?

Yeah he is spitting it out. Instead of ink, he spits lava. The idea is that he from so far down beneath the sea, he lives near the earths crust and sucks up lava inside of him!

added giant insect. This will have acid pouring out of it’s mouth.

Also added to the gash in the earth. Together with the acid, the lava has burnt into the earth’s core.
