Gettyimages is a wonderful place to find stock photage. Quite a few avalanche pieces there.

There’s an episode of the Documentary series “Savage Planet” on ITV (UK) tonight (23rd Sept) at 11.00pm, that’s about Avalanches. Might be worth a look for those in the UK.
