yes i agree partly with you. autodesk is more active than other competitive companies. but that what cosernse me, it was a healthy competition that helped these softwares to thrive, you may say that autodesk is working to improve there products, but look at its track record with Maya. call me pessimist, i just think that potting all competitive products under one roof kills off the competition and require a new strategy to promote creative solutions. and in the final result they need to decided witch product is more compatible with the new features leaving out the losers with with just a logo change. you might as well incorporate the best of the 3 and make one solid product. one thing for sure AD is expanding its consumer to compensate for world market change and to maintain its status for not to end up beached from the sea.
