Atmosphere and scene scale.

Is there any difference if i keep my scene scale small. Say my terrain is to be 300 Feet, but I set the scale so that it is 30 Feet. will this effect rendering times? is there any issue with the atmosphere presets?
for instance in other applications GI generation depends upon the scene scale. how does it behave with vue?

thanks for the help.

If you use a lot of fog and haze the picture could “look” different when scaling down the scene. Scaling down a scene does not speed up render times in general. I would keep it at real life sizes so the atmosphere setting keep making sense…

The spectral atmosphere is based on real life weather dynamics (and sizes). If your scene is small and you want to see more fog and haze (in the right balance) you can ramp up the “Aerial perspective”. 1= real life, 10 is Vue standard. For small scenes I would sugest something between 20 and 80.
