CLEANSING ------ATLANTIS

i made this using photoshop ,this image is collation of more that 15 different photographs.it took 5 hrs for me to start and finish it,2 day nearly to compose, sketch and think.

this image is based on the event after some year after cleansing and the gods are protecting the site secrets and burring the ruins still deeper,i chose the vertical layout coz to show
it a deep ocean ,i usd limited color to be more moody and silent.i belive the ripples at the ocean in this huge scal would be very small thats reason i gave the ripples smaller and finer,

i wanted to sense the scene in between distruction and disappearence.

i ll be posting the work stages on the next upload.

@dhilipsomesh: this is a great image but remember matte paintings are used basically for film or tv visual effects, please try this image in film aspect 16:9 , your main focus must be the matte painting ( the enviroment ) those submarines look cool but they steal attention

The image looks wonderfull
but the matte painting does not.
The city of Atlantis is tooo small.

it is ok as illustration but it’s not very good as matte painting

anyway I like it

yes I think you should make one more matte painting. But as an illustration it’s a very nice,wonderful artwork:thumbsup:

and it would be nice to see some work in progress on the next image. It’s a wonderfull image you made I d be interested to see your techniques.
