artifacts xstream 7 with max/mental ray

heres a test render using max and mental ray notice the white photon type artifacts. Im thinking its due to the characters which are in the scene? how do i put a stop these artifacts?

and also notice how the bushes are seemingly turning on and off switching postions…

Dynamic population does not work over rendercow. Each cpu puts the plant in a different place. The random seed changes. I’m told using an image as the seed layout will fix this but I’ve not tried it. I generally just populate normally.

I don’t know what the polygon flicker is. I bet it has to do with the max - xstream interaction. Try rendering out a frame directly from xstream.

thanks for that im only rendering on one machine.
id ideally like to render thorugh max as im using people in max to populate the scene not sure if yuo can import animated mesh into vue through max?
