I’ve just gone back to wings with the new release and am primarily using a tablet (in the wacom options i set the application specific settings to “mouse mode” with no acceleration and a fairly slow speed.
This is Ok, but i’d love to be able to just use the pen setting and get that one to one mapping of the tablet.
Does anyone know a (better) way to use a tablet with wings?
i have a tablet, and personally i wouldnt use it with wings, then again its only 4*5…
i dont find it to have anymore control than my mouse. although i like to use it for textures and if i had the full version of zbrush over the demo, i would only use it for z-brush.
Currently Tablets to not work that well because of the way that libSDL handles input handling…
The good news is that handling tablets is thoroughly possible through libSDL (not sure about esdl though)… The bad news is that it cannot currently be done in a platform independent way.
