another female celebriity head attempt

damn nice! good ! exellent!

can you say how time it takes you? for head?

i know nurbs is hard to model, but the resualts are great!

for me to model a head with polys is about 4-6 hours for the wrap model and after that 1-4 days for tuning (that can never end)

will appriciate any info you give

WELL DONE!! KEEP IT UP!

Numse:nope, sorry  ;;; I hope your doing well with the eyelashes:)

the best: for the celebrities I am just planning to make the heads since I’m making bodies for a couple of characters. I will later if I have any time I hope  thanks for asking…
Actually I modeled the hat in ‘my fairlady’ and did a lot with the body too. Unfortunately, I decided to change the theme to ‘breakfast…’ so I dumped her body and all… it was a total waste of time, but I learned a lot… I the pic above was the hat WIP I did for her :).

dima_boujou: yes the results are great, but I think anytool would be similar or maybe better. I’ve seen so many super modelers using so many tools, so I respect every tiny little tool or method. thanks for asking

okay here’s another head,
a horse I’m working on… It really takes a lot of time and patience to do the stich geometry…

I like the proportions of the head, I’ve gotten a few ideas by looking at it, so thanks for that. You do wonderfull work btw

whoa… this thread is fantastic. So inspiring, almost makes me want to do some 3d for fun again  your characters look very natural (not to mention the great likeliness of your actor faces)… just keep em coming. I have to clean my desk from the drool now, see you.

#395

Ah shait, I surely would like some!
It went fine! But I used HairFX instead, I´ll show you some results later… I´m working some more on the head mesh atm, but when I´m finished with that I´ll start mapping and texturing and then it´s finished.
Btw, get online…

How much time was the church and the mothership?

#397

Your work is awe inspiring, really amazing :applause: . lol, you must know where that special button is, you know the one, press it and it makes beautiful pieces

#398

I have to say, you’re about the best 3d artist i’ve ever seen

#399

The horse is very good. I know a little bit about horses, and your attention to their form is excellent; for example, the dimpled indentation above the brow. The rearmost part of the eye might be just a little off though.
