Annoying Problem, Please Help

#1

Hi,
I’ve only just started out with Rhinoceros and 3D modelling and I always have this problem when making cars. The problem is that the actual surface that I create doesn’t completely fill up the space inside the wireframe and this creates lots of gaps in my model, I’ve tried joinedge and it fixes up the gap but then opens up a new one. Here is a picture to show what I mean:

You see the purple surface doesn’t touch it’s borders, instead it is jagged and not rounded enough. Do I rebuild with more points? If I do that doesn’t it just make it too complicated? Isn’t there some easier way?

thanks

Increase your mesh quality/display settings…looks like you have it low/ “jagged and faster”
'smoother and slower ’ is good enough usually.
If you have the resources increase the accuracy settings/display precision tolerances and the mesh custom settings angle to 1,just for fun.
