Animator Artist
Morphee Interactive develops on XBOX 360 and PC a FPS next-gen and has its own proprietary engines and tools.
The company opens a new studio in Thaïland. We are looking for an exceptionally skilled 3D Environmental Artist. The ideal candidate has experience modeling and texturing assets for a diverse visual range of environments. A solid grasp of form, color, and light for both 2D and 3D art assets is essential. The Environment Artist must have skill in art task as well – modeling, texturing – and be well-versed in related tools --3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush, Mudbox Photoshop, etc.
Requirements

[li]Demonstrate a broad range of character animation skills, including a deep understanding of the animation principles and how to best employ them in creating content that supports both the characters and story goals of the game.
[/li][li]The creation of character animation in a variety of stylistic genres, from cartoony to realistic, mechanical to fluid, humanoid to creature.
[/li][li]Meet project deadlines and milestones and mentor environment artists in best practices and processes.
[/li][li]Ability to plan, schedule and anticipate problems before they happen.
[/li][li]Clear understanding and implementation of technical guidelines and constraints.
[/li][li]Demonstrate complete mastery of professional development software tools required for character animation.
[/li][li]Maintain and communicate a strong knowledge of innovative game production technologies and the capabilities / limitations of these technologies as they relate to project goals.
[/li][li]Actively promote and communicate sound solutions to technical and design issues related to animation.
[/li][li]Collaborate effectively with Art leads during art review sessions resulting in the finest artistic look possible.
[/li][/ul] Highly desirable skills
[ul]
[li]A reel demonstrating outstanding character animation / acting abilities; a strong understanding of the principles of animation; the physics of motion, and a wide breadth of stylistic versatility.
[/li][li]A degree, or equivalent from an animation program, is strongly preferred.
[/li][li]Professional experience working as a 3D animator in computer gaming or a related field.
[/li][li]Must be receptive to animation direction and perform well within a collaborative team environment.
