ANIMATION SUPERVISOR
Location: Bay Area, CA
Contract Type: Full-time, On-site Contract (6 weeks, starting ASAP)
Position type: Fulltime on site with a temp to perm possibility
Job Summary: Animation Supervisors are responsible for providing choreography and performance for characters and props.
Requirements:
–>Provide leadership for the animation team including education and mentoring for animators
–>Work with VFX Supervisor to create convincing performances and motion of all types and styles
–>Coordinate with production on developing project schedules and delivering shots within those schedules
–>Assign shots to Animators and ensure all relevant reference is available
–>Work with the Modeling Department to ensure that models are suitable for rigging and performance needs
–>Provide the Rigging Department with standards ensuring the delivery of a rig that will meet an Animator’s need for control, functionality, usability and performance
