animation comp.

Hi guys I have seen this part of the forum is death…if everyone accept i can prepare something for everyone and make friendly compitation… if i can got some OK answer i am going to prepare every 1 month (1 week is very limited time its better at least 2 weeks , 1 month is acceptable) competation stuff

I think it would first be a good idea to approach what kind of animation for this months (or next months) competition.

Pantomime or Dialogue?

I really could go with either. but some suggestions for both types should get the ball rolling to one side of the court.

one of my ideas for a pantomime comp comes from the old Disney “how to” cartoons with Goofy. obviously much shorter though and without narration(?). But It would be cool to have a “how to” pantomime competition.

Goofy How To’s

As for a Dialogue shot. It really just requires finding a good line. either one character or two…? and roughly 10 seconds give or take a few. It should support the character moving around the scene and not just standing in front of the camera, or sitting behind a table.

let’s get some ideas flowing… let’s make this happen.

How about something like jokes from comedians, or a few lines from movies

I am happy to see positive posts here, my idea we can start by very easy animations as bouncing ball and people can see here, if everyone accept to star bouncing balls i can open 1st comp. but ithink max 10 days will be enough for just nouncing balls(even it is quite easy for animatiors lets say, we should thing beginers ) I am also in it to find a small scene from a movie and make same animation with the character, do not think rigging process we can manage it…so if everyone accept i am gonig to open 1st season for 1st of June ( I am going to wait till 29. May then i will repost for the 1st animation comp. to explain all rules
