On their page the e-on marketing people claim that in the R 10 it is now finally possible to create plant growth animation. I read through the relevant pages of the manual and searched through the Plant Editor for the new function(s) without managing to find it. (I expected it was something simple, like a “Plant Age” slider that could be animated, I was wrong, obviously ?).
There’s a tutorial in the R10 manual that describes creation of plant decay; it is not the same thing. So is there an easier way to create animated plant growth and if so, could someone give a link to a tutorial on how to do it? Does it mean that now, in the process of animation, new branches could appear as the plant grows ?
