Animating eco system on text

Hi, I’m trying to animate an eco system on top of text. when the text moves the eco system jumps off. Is there anyway to fix this?

Ok, I got the eco system to stay on the text as it moves, but now when the object has the animation path applied the eco system does not render! Yet you can see it in all 4 views. If I kill the animation path then it renders. Go figure!
