Anetta Audi R8 Posing/ All Critiques

Hello guys, I am a new member to this forum and fairly new to 3d in general so i would like to introduce myself. I am a 18 year old Full Sail Student studying computer animation. I just recently finished my first 3d human character model in Maya. I gave her a simple rig so i could pose her on this Audi R8 I made a while back. I’m now in the process of texturing her but i have been having complications with this part of the project. As of now she has a maya fast skin shader on but i cant seem to get the a good looking render because i’ve looked up some tutorials on realistic rendering like Eat3d and Creative Development but i still cant manage to really get it down. If anyone would be so kind as to give me advice on skin texturing it would be much appreciated.

Hi there,
Your image is not showing because the file directory is from your desktop. Signup to imageshack (other type of site are available) then you can upload images to your account.

Once you have done this, click image details from the list of small icons next to the thumbnail of the image you want, a new page will open then to the right of the screen click ‘embed this image’ copy the ‘forum code’ (the whole thing) then go back to cgtalk click ‘post reply’ and paste inside the editor and done, I hope this makes sense.

I’m not quite sure but isn’t the wheels turning the wrong way since the car isn’t pointing in any specific direction or making a turn? Do you use default lightning for the render? It’ look quite odd. The texturing is not my strong-side so no critique there, anyway keep on posting your progress.
