Hello Rebecca,
Yes these are from Imagination, Checked out the works of Huston, He shares the same love for the human torso as I do;).His paintings are BRILLIANT! thank u so much for Introducing his work to me.The boxing paintings makes one forget that its a voilent
sport he has portrayed! It looks like poetry!I couldnt find any decent sized pictures of his works are there any books available or prints of his work??

cheers

Siju

Fantastic sketches. I really like the weight and volume you manage to create with just using the line. Well done!

Siju,

You’re welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed Huston’s work so much! So far as I know, he does not have any books available ~ I’m unsure about prints. I tried a brief search on Huston and could not find work for sale, but if you are really interested, you might try contacting him through his website, as I’m sure he’d be happy to let you know if he does indeed sell them.

Cheers,

This is a break-up of the stages in a 10 minute drawing from imagination! Its one of the methods I use ,I also use another method something like Doctor Bones egg and block.

I Would like to know if this is of any help and what stages should i include to make it better.

#110

Hey, this kind of thing is great to see, Siju!

Looking forward to more tutorials like this one.

#111

Incredible. You got confidence in your lines that it’s almost scary!
Thanks for sharing your process, looking forward to more awesome work!

#112

This is a layered approach which is like building one stage by one! Everything starts with a curve! Like sculpture you discover the figure as you go! I have saved all the stages so im not writing a description if anything is unclear pls let me know ,Ill explain.

Rebecca do you think think this one should also be posted in the tutorials thread?

Cheers

The final drawing is not that accurate :)! This took about 25 minutes.Of course no reference.
