Hello My friends ,Iām back! The last sculpt I worked for was commisioned by my company and Im unable to show it cuz of Nda so this is one I have started a couple of days earlier
It still has no ref ,I intend to do a clothed version also its based on one of my childhood heroes Chris Reeve.

I am a new guy in this forumā¦and Iāve been seeing ALOT of sketchbooks here but I believe I havenāt seen any which is better than yoursā¦I think youāre a master of our time!!

Sounds GREATā¦I will head up to the comic shop tommarrow and see if I can get a copyā¦thereās a comic shop pretty close to where I live, if I canāt find it there, I will check with some of the shops in downtown Boston. ā¦Canāt wait to see itā¦From what I read, it sounds like a confrotation between Dutch Shults, who was alot crazy, and Legs Diamondā¦two real life characters from that eraā¦There are two old movies, a couple of my favorites on the gangster themeā¦One I believe is called DUTCH SHULTSā¦Played by Vic Morrow,ā¦and the other one is The Legs Diamond Story,ā¦played by ā¦Ray Dantonā¦havenāt seen them in a long timeā¦I know you like the movies, so I just thought that I would mention those two, in case you havenāt seen them .

I finally made it out of the house todayā¦The weather here has been freezing cold, icey, and pretty crummy for the last couple of weeks or soā¦So I have been hibernatingā¦just like all of the rest of the creatures that have any common senseā¦
ANYWAY, I just wanted to tell you that I went to a shop near my house,called NEW ENGLAND COMICS in QUINCY, which is the town that I live in.
I asked the owner about your book DOCK WALLOPERā¦GUESS WHATā¦IT SOLD OUT IN THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS THAT HE HAD IT IN HIS SHOPā¦:bounce: ā¦He told me that he is getting more issues of it on friday, and that I should call him on friday to reserve one, before they sell out againā¦ ā¦LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE A SUCCESS ON YOUR HANDSā¦:applause: ā¦CAN YOU HANDLE ITā¦LOLā¦
Now I have to go out in the cold again friday:eek: ā¦but it will be worth the trip and pain,ā¦ IāM SUREā¦

Awwww man I still have to carefully read your comic (I apologize, no time in this period), however at first look it is incredible!

This a is a concept sculpt of a were lion I did for FX PHDās OC 2007 term,
The Gesture and The rhythms are what I went for as I couldnt have possibly modeled each piece and detailed it in the timeframe.
