Anatomy Lesson Series: Body Part 1 - The Head

#481

Nice video!! How’d you set up the camera for it?

#482

thanks demented, I only wish I was like zhuzhu

zhuzhu: have I ever told you 我爱你?

this was either 15 or 30min, depending on when I stopped chatting…

#483

thanks! This friend of mine: Alain Schmucki designed a construction for recording draw prosesses. he calls it ‘graphomat’. It’s made of alluminium, so it doesn’t weight much so you can rotate it while drawing. On top of it, lights and a camera are fixed so when move the graphomat, lights an cam move with the whole thing so you have a ‘steady cam’. For this movie he used a digital photo camera which he connected to a computer. It made one shot each 6 seconds. The camera zoom is post production.

That is brilliant. He should market that to production houses like massive black for their DVDs.

I’m glad you like it.

Here’s a quick one. I’m not happy with it so I’m gonna do more quickies, need the practice.

Rebecca: I dig your latest pieces!

#489

wow this thread moves so fast, I love it!
coCoKNIght: thanks. I want to see your video but I don’t want to install itune, is there a way to get the latest version of quicktime w/o itune?
Mal1: I LOVE your style. It’s so smooth and real. It’s great to see how you enhanced the volume from the ref. Did you use painter? What brush do you use?
