Hello, I did some more work. Heres an update. I got school so im going to sleep, Ill have some Mesh screens up soon.

Looks a little too stick-figure-like for my taste. Are you working from a concept, or did you just wing it as you went along?

I just kind of went along. But i have an Idea of its capabilities.
He wont have any Hands, only gun arms, but its a telepathik alien, so he wont need arms.

Could be just a display issue, but on one of your arms it looks as though you have an n-sided polygon.

I think he is refering to the left shoulder of the middle character in the wireframe image. And Im pretty sure its not an n-gon but just an edge that didnt render, just as an edge didnt render on the leg.

ah ok. yes i see it. it is just a render glitch, Ive been tried to keep all the polygons at 4 edges, so im rather proud of this model, I will try to improve on the detail, and well it is not done yet. But I hope that people can see something in this model and not just picture it as another failure. :slight_smile:

Not a bad start…dont be afraid to pull your verts and add more cuts where needed to give it more volume :thumbsup:

dont be afraid to use mutliple objects. Clothing, props, etc. should usually be seperate objects.

Well, up near the top of the head, I see what looks to be a real n-gon. Also, there are some triangles there, as well. I assume you’ll clean them up afterwards to improve the ‘smoothness’.

Make sure you ad extra lines/edgeloops to stuff like the weapon so it doesn’t look like goo when you smooth it. Either by chooicing a edge you want hard and beveling it, or sellecting the edge ring under and over the edge you want hardened and making new edgeloops (and then moving them closer to the edge)

Im not sure what you mean. Ill try to have another look at it.
here is a update, something I got done in colour a while ago, but now I started over the arms and will rework the weapons, once I define what the paragraph above means! :smiley:
