Thanks Killer. I thought the same thing but she is really thin. I may have the shadows wrong.
Aggie93 - Painter Thread
hey aggie
i think that the waist is too thin, too…
but the rest is very nice, and the quality of the shading is really outstanding!
keep working :)![]()
Thanks Babke. I will work more on that tonight.
Coming off of Madaith’s thread. I decided to go to Posemaniacs.com and do some two-three minute gesture sketches as much as I can a day. Here is today’s (sorry for the bad photo)

My thin girl update. I added a liquidy glass babydoll and panties. Still a working progress. Could use some input on it though.

and a close up

i don really understood the idea behind the liquid brush, but its nice but if u think of a replacement over it i’d prefer something sheer
that wud make her look good even if she is thin
Killer - the idea is a glassy type clothing. She is an AI inside the computer world. I figure the clothes would be more or less transparent but would slightly distort her underneath it. I will have more of a story later.
I am in painter and I used the Thin Distorto brush under Distortion brushes. I kinda like the out come of it even though I was wanting it to look more like glass. I think a liquid look works. I need to add highlights and shadows, plus reflections.
Repost from the Manga Workshop Thread:
Working on my Allu character:

Another Allu pose, sleeping:
Start with pencil and pen:

Then scanned it into Painter. Using round brush pens set at 10% opacity, started the skin:

Next adding the draped see through sheet. Painted with 100% opacity but set the layer to 50%.

that negative technique is pretty interesting to look at, especially with the lines showing… dunno why. Nice job so far on the latest one, good skin tones and pose, I think.
DivineRain - I think thanks for the comment. You gave a couple of comments then ended each one undecisive. Any particular reason you had reservations with each?
I actually got more done on the negative pose. Here is the latest on it:

Hi Aggie, it’s nice to see the progress in your paintings: the figures are constructed very well and you manage to draw some very convinding poses. Keep going!
batte812 - Thanks. It has been awhile since I posted on my own thread. I have been trying to figure out manga so I have been posting on their workshop. I find it more difficult than realistic work. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?p=5267307#post5267307Thanks for stopping by and reviving this thread.
