After Effects CS6 total dog memory BS crashes constantly

So I never post anything but Adobe are clearly having a laugh with AFX CS6…
I have tried almost every possible combo of memory cofigs in the “Memory and Multiprocessing” & “Media Disk Cache” pref menu, but this POS just constantly crashes.
I have a very nice workstation - with tons of fast RAM and fast Disk - that runs other apps like a dream so it’s not a hardware issue.
I have used this app for many years and this is by far the worst, most unstable version I have ever used. Complete joke. AFTER EFFECTS CS6 is Garbage software - do NOT support/purchase.
