Concept Design of a textile shop located in a Japan inspired level within my personal IP AENiGMA
A fight occurs here so I made sure to have it open yet still follow a building plan similar to what they would have in edo era Japan with my own twists.
This is a Textile/Kimono shop where you can buy clothing that gently dances in and out of it’s luminescence thanks to a special chemical mixed with ink
Development Notes: I spent several months living in Japan, during that time I visited several museums where I sketched and talked to guides to get a better understanding of historical Japanese architecture and living. This in turn inspired me to make a fantasy Edo Japan inspired level for my personal project, blending historical accuracy with many of my own spin. For mood I was inspired by trips to hot spring villages.
