Advice on Shading for Space Scene


I found some free planet textures on CG trader so I decided to try them out. However I’m not exactly an expert when it comes to shading and connecting textures so I kind of started creating and randomly connecting textures while also trying to find a proper recent tutorial about this subject.

I would like your advice on what shaders I should use and how to connect the different textures available because I have no idea what is going on. I provide pictures for all of them, as well as how the current render looks like.
So far I created three spheres for the planet itself, the clouds and the lights.
The screenshot you see below from top to bottom:

  1. The current shader connected to the main planet sphere
  2. First render
  3. Lights
  4. Specular
  5. Diffuse
