Advice on Modular Assets workflow w/ Texturing and Detailing

Hi Everyone

I’ve been sinking a lot of my free time into experimenting and learning how to produce modular assets for environmental design and art. I’ve reached a point however where I’m nervous on how to proceed onto texturing:

I’m very familiar with Zbrush and the Substance Suite (Designer, Painter) but I’m unsure how to bring it all together.

So far I’ve been importing each asset into Zbrush, sculpting detail and exporting detail maps and trying to apply them in Substance Painter, etc etc but my work is very sub standard and I’m stuck on where to look for guidance to improve.

Do any of you have any recommendations or advice to give on how your asset workflows usually go? Any words of wisdom is hugely appreciated!
