Advanced menu * hotkey * !

How i can set the hotkey for pick axis rotate around (middle mouse button on rotate ??)??

#2

It tells you under the help menu.
Just hover your cursor over the command, press / or insert and then your shortcut. - Baz

He’s wanting to assign the MMB command… I don’t think that can be done.

ya currently only left mouse button operations can be hot keyed

it would be nice if for the advance tools bjorn would use
the hotkey assignment system found in hamapatch
where you have a menu with catagories listing all
possible menu operations and assign them
including such things as using a key to toggle even
mouse operations

imagine hitting a key while in tweek mode that makes right mouse clicking add temp selections this way you could move many faces edges or verts at once
with the right handling this and many other powerful combinations could be generated

#5

Oops! sorry forgot that bit. :o(
You can’t assign the middle button in Wings but depending on your mouse drivers you may be able to assign the middle mouse button to the same key combination as the shortcut created in Wings.
Hope that helps! - Baz

re MMB rotate - dunno if these of any use / have tried

Doing your MMB rotate and setting the op as a default command

Defining your vector as a default axis, then assigning Rotate -> Default axis to a hotkey

Both scenarios limit use to the original vector (no shift thro’ different origin) - but might be of use if doing a lot of rotating referenced to the same axis.

(2 def cmmds + 1 def axis on hkey = 3 easy access rotates?)

(Def axis hkey bug on temp seln at mo’ - got to select)
