Advanced features tut ?

#1

Where can I find tutorials on Hashs’ advanced features ?

–Kind of like an even more in depth version of the ( original ) manual –

As A:M is updated, where do the guys at Hash post the new " instructions" on how to use the new features ?

When I crack open the properties to many things in the program, I see tons of options that I have learned ( some of ) mainly through trial and lots and lots of errors.

I have seen links to “Tech Talks” from Hash, but I am clueless as to where they originate from. ( How long have these "Tech Talks " been around ?

I wish I knew about them years ago. It would have saved me so much grief learning A:M.

Off topic : I can’t remember how to add an image to the icons in the ‘Libraries’ folder in A:M.

Thanks.

Yes thanks, but where do you go to find hidden things like the ‘Tech Talks’ ?

I believe they are on Hash’s FTP server if you want to get them directly. They’re pretty huge files. Here are the direct links:

http://www.s1.hashmirror.com/ftp/pub/movies/NetRender.mov
http://www.s1.hashmirror.com/ftp/pub/movies/FontWizard.mov

http://www.s1.hashmirror.com/ftp/pub/movies/NoelMultiDRelationships.mov
http://www.s1.hashmirror.com/ftp/pub/movies/DynamicConstraint.mov
http://www.s1.hashmirror.com/ftp/pub/movies/BobCPWeights.mov

You need the Camtasia Ensharpen codec to see them. http://www.techsmith.com/download/ensharpendefault.asp?lid=DownloadEnSharpen

I agree, they are hard to find, but worth it.

There’s a tech talk section on AM Films but it seems to be empty at the moment, hope they fix that soon.

The tech talks are announced on the Hash forum as they are released (they are put together by the Hash staff themselves)

Cheers
