adding vertices to character sets

Hello, i am creating an animation of a heart beating. I have made a rig and animated it for 50 frames. Once I was done animating I added everything keyable to a new character set (Heartbeat). When I create a animation clip (Beat) everything performs correctly except for the vertices that were keyed. So I went ahead and looked into the Heartbeat character set to see see if the vertices were in it. The vertices are in the character set and are labled and created as polySurfaceShap58.Pnts[71].Pntz, polySurfaceShap58.Pnts[71].Pnty, polySurfaceShap58.Pnts[71].Pntx. Although these are in the character set they do not have any keyed attributes on them and do not seem to hold the translation information which i am trying add to the character set. :banghead: I assume that this approach is wrong or that there must be a more precise technique to achieve the keyed vertex information to my character set.

If anyone could shed some light on this and help to clarify this problem it would be much appreciated.
