Adding New Brushes to CS4

#1

I have a question on how to add brushes to CS4 and have them displayed neatly with assorted brushes, basic brushes, drop shadow brushes etc.

In CS3 when I would load a brush it would add the new brushes to a its own preset and would stay listed with Basic brushes etc. In cs4 it seems to just keep adding brushes to what ever preset you have opened.

I haven’t figured it out yet, any tips on how to do this, so I can organize my brushes better

thanks

hi rob

the best way to organize brushes is in the Brush Preset Manager
there, you can add, delete, move, save and load brushes however you like

i hope this is what you’ve been looking for

cheers

Only just looked at it now for you so I’m not too smart on it, but…

Use the Presets Manager. Select brushes there and “Save Set” to make a tidy bundle of brushes you like.

Later you can use “Replace Brushes” load only that set of brushes.

edit: Oh wait, that’s what Creeto said.
