Activating Messiah

I just bought the upgrade of Messiah from M:A4 to M:S workstation. I waited 3 weeks for a CD to get here as it did when I bought Messiah 1.5.7 and M:A4. Afterwards I read that I could download my updates if I already had a dongle. I guess I just wasted 3 weeks but enought of that. The directions stated something about e-mailing them for activation but unlike lightwave where I send the hardware lock number that pops up, there is not hardware lock pop-up so how is one supposed to activate it.

Am I just thick! or is there more to it than the directions state?

you dont activate it. you just use your existing dongle.

well email them, they will send you the dongle updater.

The problem is that isn’t working.

I get two errors when I try to use it.

“The dynamic link library MSVCP71.dll could not be found in the specified path”
XXXXXXXXX

and

“Hasp Protection System - NO authorization to run this program.”

Thing is, I can run M:A4 just fine.

hhhmmmmm. Perhaps I’m overlooking something else. any ideas.

The app will still run without the DLL, but you can download that DLL and copy to the messiah directory to get rid of that error. As far as the dongle goes…it sounds like it’s tied to M A:4 and not Workstation. Follow Parsec3d’s advice and contact pmG.
