accessing old posts

how long will my post stay on the forum?

i tried accessing 4 year old posts but couldn’t find them.

is there a way to access them?

Posts stay on the forum indefinately (unless they are removed for posting violations by one of the FLs). For example: This is the oldest recorded post on the forum (post #2), which is still available for viewing.

Unfortunately, the search is restricted to 120 posts. So if you’re searching an active poster from 4 years past you may not be able to find the post you’re looking for because the system will return the 120 posts that meet the criteria from latest to oldest.

The search options allow you to search “A Year Ago” “And Older” which will narrow down your selection. If you can’t narrow it down by username to pick up the posts from 4 years past you need to find a key word that the search will pick up on.

It’s not a perfect system, but if you have some idea of what you’re looking for (title, artist, etc.) it is possible to find threads from years past. I’m pretty good with the search. If you can tell me what you’re looking for, I’ll see if I can help you find it.

i just want to visit some older posts.
