Small additions…im running dry on ideas here…any suggestions?
Above & Beyond-vehicle/pilot-otacon
Otacon, looking really nice.
If you want it to fly in the real world (I personaly don’t think it’s all that neccesary in this contest) the centre of gravity must be under the wings.
Rear engine jobs therefore tend to have their wings way back.
As I say I don’t thing this matters too much here.
Plus having some sort of tail/rudder would make it more plane like.
Cool. Thanks for the input.
That sky was a test, but i dont think it looks right in the scene. Ill try putting on some kind of rutter.
hey thats great! you should see what it looks like two of those with big old homemade looking pontoons that are on seaplanes, just an idea, also maybe some kind of air intake for engine cooling, although the engine is pretty exposed now that i think about it.
Just thought, you could put some ailerons on those wings. You need some way of steering.
I think you must add detail in the fusselage, put metal plates, bolts, little doors and things like that…:wip:
That last render is looking sweet!! I really like this one octane!! One of my favorites so far. Anything else planed???

I think im about done with this one. I might add a little more, but i dont know…heres a render without the pilot so you can just see the plane.
The end opposite to the fan looks like it could use more detail. Coming along nicely though
Sadly I must admit that im losing iterest in this challenge.:hmm: I like it a lot, but i dont really like spending a lot of time on one thing. But theres a few days left, so ill try to get up a good final image. heres a pic mainly for getting this thread pushed up(you gotta do what ya gotta do:p ) replies are still welcomed as i might change a few things before the final. Cheers
just stopped by to see your work…looks very cool. I like that blue render it is very, very good…well done…I still have lots of work no mine. you’re really fast. ![]()
Well everybody…I have the final image.:applause: Thanks to all who replied, it helped out a lot…and i hope to see you all in the next challenge. Farewell for now.:wavey:
