I think there is somthing wrong with the scale for the rider may be it’s just my eye ,and the arm in the lift side of the plane how it’s supose to left up???

I was wondering the same thing about the size of the pilot, but i kind of like the look he has now…being scrunched up in his little plane. I wanted a little bit of cartoony look to it :slight_smile: but I dont see what you mean about lifting up his arm… does he not have room or what?

Hey, this is looking really cool…rider seems reasonable size…maybe odd to have such a big prop on such a small engine? I like the sort of WWI style pic too…

I think he means the big lever/knob on the pilot’s left…maybe that could be the thing that raises/lowers taller landing gear?

i like what you’re doing here. i noticed that the props are so larg that they would be about half way into the ground on take off with the landing gear as is. or is the gear retracted somehow?:beer:

Yea…thats what that knobs for…:smiley: I tried making the landing gear longer, but it looked weird…so instead ill just have them lower down whenever he comes in for a landing.

Otacon, looking really nice.
If you want it to fly in the real world (I personaly don’t think it’s all that neccesary in this contest) the centre of gravity must be under the wings.
Rear engine jobs therefore tend to have their wings way back.

As I say I don’t thing this matters too much here.

Plus having some sort of tail/rudder would make it more plane like.

hey thats great! you should see what it looks like two of those with big old homemade looking pontoons that are on seaplanes, just an idea, also maybe some kind of air intake for engine cooling, although the engine is pretty exposed now that i think about it.

Just thought, you could put some ailerons on those wings. You need some way of steering.
