FINITO!
well then. this challenge is over for me. I am of to bed now. Here comes my final pictures. I am almost satisfied with them, even though I had to force them. Made fullscreen renders of them too, just hit those links below to be served in 1280 glory.

[edit] Oh, maybe I should add that I will be away for several days now. So I can take no action of submiting my pictures anywhere. [edit]

I really do appriciate all the support you have given me during this month. See you all next challenge.

This is the image that I participate in the voting with:

This image, but in fullscreen.

Just for show here comes the interior alone.

This image, but in fullscreen.

Very nice work, although I have one little observation: the way the ropes that hold the baloons are held to the circular metal bar doesn’t seems very solid, just a simple loose knot… anyway, that’s just a small detail in one wonderful piece of art! I’m especially impressed by the map in the cabin, probably been alot of work just for that little piece of paper hanging on the wall! :applause:

[edit]Oh! the map is intersecting with that ‘bone’ on the table :)[/edit]

#167

Knarly finish dude!:airguitar …cant wait to see what you got for the next challenge.

I am most humble in your presence, master Mikael P.
Upon seeing the renders, I can only stand in awe.

I like the new mood you created in your indoor scene, and the new bed fits much better in the scene then the old one did!
I like this one… the pic is almost like a story, that’s art

I like how you have implemented the wood into the interioir scene. It looks cosy… rather than crowded as you thought it might look. Very nice air vehicle/home!!!

#177

oh yes u make one of the best works here

#178

Great work Mikael.P.
I really wonder hwo you made the wood on the dek of the baloon cabin. I supose you can’t acheave that with only bumb map.
well great work goodluck in the voting and I hope to c you again in other challenges.

By for now:wavey:

#179

#180

wow, thanks for the really encouraging words. Back from my trip to catch up on the ending- and beginning of the new challenge.

Baal, hehe yes I know about the ropes, but there was no time. That map on the wall did turn out nice. It was a bit of thinking to find out where the folds should be directed.

otacon, dmcgrath thanks!

ila solomon  nope, not a single texture.

Fetus23 Thank you. Maybe you should describe your idea about cutaway. I dont hink I got it.

DimitrisLiatsos, stipen, m@, STRIKE you do make me happy, thanks.

fellah Really glad you like it. Hmm, interesting to see that you like the new bed more. I was a bit sad that I had to take away the nice stripes due to the texture restrictions. Yep, count me in for the next challenge.

scribble yes, that wood for the interior did turn out nicely.

swag  thanks man.

Iguiniz.X Just plain modelling, no bumps or nothing.

Lorenzo This was discussed eralier, it is for insulation. The metal is to hold out the harsh weather and the wood to keep the warmth inside.

Zardoz Thanks!

Once again, I really appriciate your kind words. They fill me with energy and inspiration for the next challange around the corner.

#182

5 from me… good work. Nice details.
